What Is Perimenopause…
Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause, during which a woman’s body gradually shifts from a reproductively active state to the end of menstrual cycles. It reflects the ovaries declining production of estrogen and progesterone, resulting in a wide range of symptoms (hot flashes, mood changes, brain fog, etc). Starting as early as your 30’s or as late as your 50’s, spanning anywhere from 3-10 years. Every woman experiencing a different perimenopausal phase from the next.
